The Zodiac killer terrorized the San Francisco Bay Area from the late 60's through the late seventies. The
elusive killer claimed many victims, including a young couple here on Lake Herman Road along the Vallejo
/ Benecia border.
The Zodiac murders took place practically right in our backyards. Most of the locations where Zodiac
claimed his victims were just minutes away from us. Having read some background on the unsolved
murders, we decided one night to head to Lake Herman Road. This remote two-lane highway is very very
dark and lonely, providing an eerie backdrop to our hunt.

As some of you investigators have discovered, collecting evidence
while outdoors is not as easy thing to do. On this night, the winds
were high, rendering our digital recorders useless.
